How many of you remember "The Kitchen Table Collection"? If you don't, you should stop by the Didsbury Municipal Library and pick up a copy. There were six volumes and helped Didsbury author, Noreen Olson, win Canada's Cowboy Poetry Festival!

Author Talk at the Didsbury Library on May 24, 2022.Not only that, but her book, "The School Bus Doesn't Stop Here Anymore" made the Best Seller list in the Edmonton Journal, she had work included in the Penguin Anthology of Canadian Humour, and even in Margaret Atwood's "Barbed Lyres: Canadian Venomous Verse"!

And she's back! This time, promoting her new book, "Love and Kisses Paul Hiebert", at the Didsbury Library's Author Talk on Tuesday, May 24th at 2 pm.

Hiebert was a Canadian humourist who corresponded with Olson for many years until his passing in 1987. This latest book charts this correspondence as they covered a variety of subjects, and also reveals the rare friendship between the two authors.

Such a great compilation and Didsburians will be delighted to listen to some of those tales and thoughts by Noreen Olson herself.

The Didsbury Municipal Library is located at 2033 - 19th Avenue. Free admission.
