|Coffee and Conversation is one of the most popular monthly events in Didsbury, as people gather at the museum to visit with each other, and to learn about the history of our town, and the individuals who have made our county so rich and beautiful. The next installment is on April 25th, so mark your calendars now for an afternoon learning about the beauty of flowers.|
This month's guest is Tara Derksen from In Bloom Flowers and Gifts, Didsbury's local florist.
A quick browse in the cooler at Tara's shop often yields plenty of roses, chrysanthemums and lilies among the usual suspects on display but, while undeniably beautiful, these flowers are just a small selection of blooming nature. Taking time to smell them is always a gift, and sometimes even a surprise!
Everyone is welcome to come, chat, enjoy a cup of coffee, and explore the Museum. Coffee and Conversation runs from 1 - 3:30 pm. This is a free event, so come learn the art of floral design and celebrate spring!
Remember, the museum is selling raffle tickets for a flight for 2 anywhere WestJet flies. Draw to be made September 22, 2018. Call the museum at 403-335-9295 for more info.
Coffee and Conversation runs the fourth Wednesday afternoon of each month.
The Museum is located at 2110 21st Avenue.
