Didsbury Aquajets is a competitive summer swim club where kids learn to swim using proper swimming techniques for strokes and turns, and develop endurance and speed.
This year Didsbury will be hosting a long distance meet on July 6th and 7th. Events available will be 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m. There will be no relays.
Not to worry if your child doesn't want to participate in competitions. They can join for the fun of it, for the excercise, and/or social interaction. It's still a good idea for everyone to compete in at least one swim meet, just to see what it's like (it's a whole lot of fun!).
Part of the Alberta Summer Swimming Association (ASSA) where members swim competitively in short course (25 metre) pools, the organization is recognized by Kidsport Didsbury. They are affiliated with both Swimming Canada and Swim Alberta.
The Didsbury Aquajets Swim Club is a non profit organization run by a volunteer board. If you would like to contact the board please email: email@example.com.
Swimming takes place at the Didsbury Aquatic Centre, 1702 - 21 Ave.
