Do you know someone interested in lacrosse but might be nervous to sign up because they've never played?
Here's your chance for your friends to try lacrosse with no commitment, because IT'S FREE!
The Try-It Night is this coming Monday, March 12th. Just go to Westglen Middle School and from 6 - 8 pm, be prepared to have a lot of fun.
Designed for young people aged 5 - 15, all you need to do is bring a helmet (with face mask), a water bottle, and a stick (if you have one or you can borrow one). There will be equipment you can borrow, too.
From improved mental acuity, increased fitness, socialization and team building, lacrosse is the perfect sport for kids to play - and it is fun to watch for parents as well.

A little lacrosse history:
Lacrosse was first declared the National Game of Canada in 1859. In 1994 Parliament passed the Canada's National Sport Act which declared lacrosse to be "Canada's National Summer Sport", with hockey as the national winter sport.
