Bearberry Hall

The hall has a capacity of 125 to 150 people, and is equipped with a modern commercial kitchen, stage, new chairs and tables. In connection with the renting of the Hall we offer RV parking stalls and lots of room for campers on our green space. Some power. Operated by the Bearberry Wapitana Society.

As a group, we organize the upkeep of Bergen Hall and the grounds; we have a nearly new playground set with four slides, six swings, and much more. There is a ball diamond and 14 (15 amp) RV plugs around the parking lot. Each year, we sponsor a Christmas concert in December. The capacity of the hall is 150 occupants. We have an up-to-date commercial
kitchen.

Olds - OR Hedges Park (operated by Olds Lions Club) 5013 - 54 Street (54 St. Across from Cow Palace & Centenial Park). Phone: 403-556-2299 (seasonal only) or 403-556-2606 (Bob Graham). Open May 1 - October 15. Fenced for security and offers 43 serviced sites, each with electricity and water. Showers, washrooms and a sewer dumping station. Payment is collected and monitored by the on-site manager. Stock trailers are not allowed anywhere within the campground. Reservations are taken once the campground is open for the season.

The Carstairs Community Hall opened in the early 1990s and is used by organizations in and around the community. With seating for 540 (350 for dining), a complete sound system, and kitchen facilities, the hall is a terrific facility for hosting mini-conventions, weddings, fundraisers, craft shows, community events and banquets.

The Carstairs Community Curling Rink is located right in the heart of town beside the Memorial Park. Home to the Horticultural Show and Pumpkin Festival during the fall, and a very busy place in the winter, the rink features four sheets of ice, a lounge and a concession. This facility is owned by the Town of Carstairs and operated by the Carstairs Community Curling Club under contract. Call for information on curling leagues, bonspiels, or to rent the facility.

Consisting of an arena, running track, kitchen, concession stand, washrooms, elevator, change rooms, meeting rooms, and viewing area, the complex is a hub of activity. The Eagle Hill Memorial Community Centre is available for rent for wedding receptions, family reunions, meetings, funeral services, and other community events. There are two ball diamonds available for league teams and ball tournaments throughout the summer. Camping is also available in the area. The Foothills Curling Rink has two ice surfaces and is available for anyone interested in curling during the winter.

Owned and operated by the No.185 Olds Air Cadets Parent Association. The Olds Recreation Center has two meeting rooms, a large main hall and kitchen. Rooms can be rented separately or all together. Accessible with an barrier free washroom. The Hall is centrally located near the Library and the Sportsplex in Uptowne Olds. Significant interior renovations took place in 2010 and 2012.

The Scout Hall was named after Wilf Weber. Wilf was very involved with the Scouting Movement over the years. The new building was erected in 1972. Local Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and leaders now meet at the Weber Scout Hall in Carstairs Memorial Park. The Scouts Canada program is for both boys and girls ages five to 21.
