Our purpose is to provide an indoor facility to enable winter BMX racing and training for Alberta athletes. Our goal is to promote this new Olympic cycling sport and grow its participation here in Canada. The sport is very family oriented and participant driven with male and female riders ranging in age from 3-63. Open track riding, coaching, rental bikes and weekend racing are all available under the megadome in Olds. Come and race down a start ramp, across a dirt track with rollers, jumps and banked turns. The greatest sport on two wheels!

The Didsbury & District Chamber of Commerce is a community-based volunteer business organization, whose purpose is to support, promote, nurture, and educate for the improvement of our business community. The Didsbury Chamber has an active membership of about 75 businesses. The Chamber host the Didsbury Art, Travel and Trade Expo each April, a Merchant’s Pancake Breakfast in August, and the Small Business Week Gala in October.

Known as the Agri-Sportsplex in the summer and the Curling Rink in the winter months, this facility includes a 4-sheet curling rink ice surface, complete with lounge and kitchen facilities, Hogline Room, and mezzanine. The Didsbury Elks Lodge meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month except July and August. There is an annual windup meeting every year on the last Saturday in June and guests are welcome. Located on the west end of town at the end of Main Street, this nine-hole golf course provides easy access for all ages. The Didsbury Golf Course is a pleasant community course where visitors are always welcome. This is an easy-to-walk course with a mixture of narrow and wide fairways. Three small ponds enter play on six holes, but the major challenge on this course is the small greens that are difficult targets. Our Country Kitchen restaurant is open from mid April until the end of the season. We cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can accomodate groups of up to 75 people for special occasions. We have the only outdoor patio in town!

Didsbury's Memorial Complex houses two skating rinks; the main ice which is 17,000 square feet, and the leisure ice which is 5,382 square feet. The Arena operates with the ice in from September until the end of March and the facility is available for rent depending on existing schedules. The Didsbury Museum, situated in the Town of Didsbury, Alberta, was established to tell the story of the founding, settlement and development of the community in and surrounding the Town of Didsbury from the late 1800s to the present. The red brick school became home to the Didsbury Museum in 1989. It was designated a Historic Building in the summer of 1997. In 2006 the Historical Society acquired the title to the public school building, called “The Old Red Brick School House”. The Highland Primary Care Network (HPCN) was established in 2007 to provide a more comprehensive primary care experience for the growing number of community members in the region. HPCN clinics are now located in Airdrie, Didsbury, Carstairs, and Crossfield, which serve over 54,000 patients from those towns and surrounding communities. The primary focus of the HPCN is chronic disease management and prevention, which has lead to the creation of the Health Management Team (HMT). Meals on Wheels is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization designed to assist elderly or disabled people to remain in their homes as long as possible, while maintaining proper nutrition. The drivers not only deliver food but also provide the client with an outside contact for five days a week. Meals on Wheels is also designed to assist persons on discharge from the hospital during a convalescent period. Meals are prepared at the hospital so special diets can be accommodated. Meals are delivered by volunteers Monday to Friday at 4.30 pm. Clients are charged a price, set by the hospital, and meal tickets are sold at the beginning of the month. The idea of forming a model railroad club was presented to model railroaders and a location was secured in the Didsbury Museum. The Club has their working model on display there and it's getting bigger and better all the time. Club members built walls to define their space and developed a basic track plan which would incorporate a portion of Didsbury facing the railway's right-of-way. See pictures on their website. Olds Career High School is a fully accredited public high school dedicated to helping learners of all ages in an alternative school environment. The Sundre Fire Department is operated by 32 volunteer firefighters, officers, and a part time Fire Chief. The fire department services the Town of Sundre along with a large rural area consisting of parts of Mountain View County, Clearwater County and Big Horn County. Volunteers are a professional group of firefighters who are trained and ready to respond to a wide range of community needs including fire response, vehicle extrication, OHV incident response, water and Ice rescue, low angle rescue and disaster response. The fire department apparatus includes 2 pumpers, a tanker, a rescue truck, a rapid response truck and a rescue quad and trailer. The Sundre Fire Department is also a dedicated service organization as well, raising funds for the community through ball tournaments, a quad poker rally and event services. Members not only give back to the community financially, they also host events such as the kids Santa Day at the fire hall and Pumpkin Carving at the hall.

The BudBarn Museum has the world's largest Budweiser collection of 20,000+ items on display including many local Neapolis artifacts in a rare 97 year old hip roof barn. The Scout Hall was named after Wilf Weber. Wilf was very involved with the Scouting Movement over the years. The new building was erected in 1972. Local Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and leaders now meet at the Weber Scout Hall in Carstairs Memorial Park. The Scouts Canada program is for both boys and girls ages five to 21.
