The Didsbury Aquatic Centre includes a 25-metre five lane indoor swimming pool, a 150-foot waterslide, hot tub, steam room, and meeting room. The Aquatic Centre provides residents the opportunity to take part in competitive swimming, aquacize, recreational swimming, water sports of all kinds, lessons and more. The Aquatic Centre has a lot of programs scheduled including Red Cross swim lessons, private swim lessons, aquatic fitness.

The mission of the Cadet Program is to contribute to the development and preparation of youth for the transition to adulthood, enabling them to meet the challenges of modern society, through a dynamic community-based program. Known as the Agri-Sportsplex in the summer and the Curling Rink in the winter months, this facility includes a 4-sheet curling rink ice surface, complete with lounge and kitchen facilities, Hogline Room, and mezzanine. The Curling Rink is available for rent from April to September. It seats 150 people and is great for banquets, meetings and weddings.

The Didsbury Dragons Community Football Club plays in the 9 Man Mountain View Football Conference. The League was formed in 2006 and is now comprised of six teams. New for this season is a North and a South Division. The North Divison teams are Drayton Valley - Frank Maddock Warriors, Edmonton Victory Crimson Knights and the Innisfail Cyclones Football Club. The South Division is the Carstairs / Crossfield Tigers Football Club, Didsbury Dragons Football Club, and the Sundre Bison Football Club.

The Didsbury Elks Lodge meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month except July and August. There is an annual windup meeting every year on the last Saturday in June and guests are welcome. There is also an annual parade in August, co-hosted by the Didsbury Royal Purple. The Elks operate the Cipperly’s Pond Campground, open between May and September. The Elks Hall is located in downtown Didsbury. Can be rented for events, non-smoking, kid friendly, stage, kitchen.

Located on the west end of town at the end of Main Street, this nine-hole golf course provides easy access for all ages. The Didsbury Golf Course is a pleasant community course where visitors are always welcome. This is an easy-to-walk course with a mixture of narrow and wide fairways. Three small ponds enter play on six holes, but the major challenge on this course is the small greens that are difficult targets. Our Country Kitchen restaurant is open from mid April until the end of the season. We cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can accomodate groups of up to 75 people for special occasions. We have the only outdoor patio in town!

The Club owns and operates the Lions Shuttle Bus, offering taxi service in the community. Each year, members of the Didsbury Lions Club build a gazebo and raffle off tickets at the annual Didsbury Art, Travel & Trade Expo and throughout the summer, with the draw being made in August during the Fair & Rodeo. Proceeds from the raffle go to support many worthwhile events and activities in the community, and those initiated by Lions Club International. Didsbury's Memorial Complex houses two skating rinks; the main ice which is 17,000 square feet, and the leisure ice which is 5,382 square feet. The Arena operates with the ice in from September until the end of March and the facility is available for rent depending on existing schedules. The Complex is home to the Didsbury Figure Skating Club, Didsbury Minor Hockey Association and the Mountain View Colts of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League.

The Didsbury Museum, situated in the Town of Didsbury, Alberta, was established to tell the story of the founding, settlement and development of the community in and surrounding the Town of Didsbury from the late 1800s to the present. The red brick school became home to the Didsbury Museum in 1989. It was designated a Historic Building in the summer of 1997. In 2006 the Historical Society acquired the title to the public school building, called “The Old Red Brick School House”. Favourite events are the monthly Coffee and Conversations held the 4th Wednesday of each month. For small gatherings and or group meeetings consider the Museum as a unique venue.

The school was established in 1978 by a very dedicated group of parents, whose purpose was to provide their preschool children with the opportunity to learn through constructive play and the development of social skills, prior to entering the regular school system. The Didsbury Preschool is a non-profit society, operated by a Parent Executive Board, who meet monthly to administer and update the operation of the school, and to table events or concerns of the school. Generally speaking, the Didsbury Preschool follows the same school calendar as Ross Ford Elementary, Westglen Middle School, and the Didsbury High School, so when Chinook’s Edge School Division schools have holidays, so will the Didsbury Preschool.

The club provides a central organization in the Mountain View County for people of all ages interested in Model Aviation. The club promtoes learning and sharing of information about remote controlled miniature aircrafts and maintains an airfield north of Didsbury. In the winter, the club participates in flying indoor remotal control model planes and helicopters.
